Our name reflects our mission: to weave together the scientific research process and the patient journey, with the ultimate goal of improving healthcare and enhancing people’s quality of life.
We believe in the active involvement of patients in managing their own health, which is why we prioritize sharing information that is both understandable and scientifically validated.
We recognize that the heavy workload in hospitals often prevents healthcare professionals from providing fully personalized care and engaging in research. That’s why we support them by creating educational materials, scientific articles, and content for conferences and congresses.
We also collaborate with pharmaceutical companies to disseminate the latest scientific advances about innovative treatments and to help make these therapies more accessible to patients.
We demonstrate our professionalism and commitment with results: just a few years after its founding, Patients in Science has worked with more than 20 clients and participated in over 60 projects.
Claudia Savini
Claudia founded Patients in Science in 2020, driven by her passion for making scientific knowledge accessible to wider audiences and integrating the patient perspective into research.
Previously, she spent more than a decade conducting oncology research at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions, including Imperial College London, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, and the National Cancer Research Center in Madrid.
